Escape will always give you the option of staying in a twin or single room. All of our advertised prices are based on twin sharing.
Twin Rooms
Twin rooms have 2 single separate beds. If you are traveling with a friend and want to share the same room as them, you can simply write their name under the twin room preference when booking.
If you are traveling alone and don't write a roommate preference, we will pair you up with another traveler of the same gender. We've done this hundreds of times and are always surprised with the great friendships that have been created on Escape trips!
Double Rooms
Double rooms are intended for couples. Double rooms have 1 big bed for 2 adults.
Single Rooms
For those of you that prefer having your own room, we got you covered. All Escape trips will have a single room option for an extra fee that is clearly shown in the booking fields and trip description.
Escape gives you the options of either making an instant online payment, using your credit card, or by making a direct deposit/money transfer into our bank account.
Making the online payment is secure, instant and hassle free. If you choose to pay online you will be redirect to PayPal's payment portal to make the payment.
If you choose to make a direct deposit / money transfer; Escape will hold your booking for 24 hours. The booking will be automatically canceled if the payment is not made by then.
Booking your flight
It is important that you book your flights at the same time you make your booking with us. Travelers are responsible for booking their own flights. We will always tell you exactly which flights to book.
Visa & Travel Insurance
Visas and travel insurance are to be arranged separately by the travelers. It is each traveler's responsibility to contact the embassy and to find out if they need a visa. Please refer to our Travel Resources section for contact details to the various consulates and embassies. Escape will aid you with the visa by providing you with supporting documents such a hotel reservation letters. Such supporting documents are available only after a booking has been made. To request a letter email us at contact@escape-travels.com, please include your full name, booking reference number and the name of the trip. Supporting documents will be emailed to you within 2 - 4 working days.
Pre-departure Email
Exactly one week before your departure, Escape will email you a pre-departure email. This email will give you useful information such as:
We will also give you a link to a taxi sharing program. This is an optional program designed for those that live far from the airport and want to share a taxi. It is a great way to save money and meet some of your traveling buddies before the trip starts!
Upon landing at your destination, a member of Escape Travels will be waiting for you. After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, you will see your tour leader holding our logo:
